The brief

NIQ for Digital Commerce wanted to show how brands can use AI to boost product visibility, sales and competitive edge on the digital shelf.

The ebook had to look polished and on brand, make complex AI applications accessible to a broad audience, and drive engagement and leads.

Design approach

Structure

A clean grid keeps the reading flow logical and easy on the eye. It became the standard layout for every NIQ ebook that followed. Bold headings, subheadings and callouts make it easy to scan for the key takeaways.

The look follows NIQ's brand guidelines for type and colour, balancing corporate credibility with a modern, digital feel.

Data & interactivity

Infographics and charts turn complex ideas into something digestible, like the timeline of AI's evolution and the nested diagram of AI, machine learning, deep learning and GenAI. Icons flag key points for quick reference.

In the digital version, call-to-action buttons point readers to further resources and NIQ's services, and hyperlinks make it easy to jump between sections and related reports.

Challenges

I worked with the content manager to distil the AI applications into clear, actionable insights. We went through several rounds of design reviews to get the balance right with NIQ's brand.

Results

The ebook brought in leads and got good feedback from industry professionals on how clear and readable it was.
